Guilherme Garcia is an indigenous visual artist, communicator and creative director. Raised between Angra dos Reis and Duque de Caxias, took his first photos as a teenager, with a Zenit 12xp bought at a thrift store. The contact with the analogue world enabled the artist to understand the mechanisms behind photography, and adopted this aesthetics in his works.
In parallel with photography, Guilherme developed his work in cultural journalism and advertising, creating texts related to music, art and society. He was part of the media outlets Corre Mídia and Genius Brasil, and is currently part of the communications team at Flagra, Prêmio Rap Brasil.
Throughout his career, has worked for: Budweiser, Ballantine's, AUR, Kenner, Lollapalooza Brasil and Som Livre. In 2024, he got in the PAVS (Photography and Audiovisual Studio) team at Netflix Brasil.
